Westcliffe was listed as one of the top 20 rural towns in America by American Cowboy Magazine, and it’s no surprise why with all that it has to offer.


Hunting

We have hunting seasons that run from August through April with opportunities to harvest Elk, Mule Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Mt. Goat, Lion, Bear, Antelope, Bobcat, Coyotes and Turkeys.


Fishing, Hiking, and 4-wheeling

With over 100 miles of trails running through the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, dozens of high lakes, Lake Deweese and the Arkansas River close by there are plenty of places to explore!


Horse Facilities

The Painted view ranch is located in the Valley Floor just minutes from the town of Westcliffe. They offer boarding, training, lessons, cutting events, Chris Cox Clinics and more!


Skiing  

Monarch Ski Area is only an hour and half away.
